60+ aboard on June 24-25, 2023 KY Transport

In memory of Frieda Gilford!

This weekend's transport is dedicated to the memory of Frieda Gilford. She lost her battle with breast cancer just a couple of weeks ago. She lived in KY, but Rescues far into the northeast knew her, too. She drove many miles, transporting many furry friends, and saving countless lives. Please read our tribute to Frieda at the top of the Final run sheet. She will be missed by so many.

Frieda would be thrilled to know that we are saving 60+ lives on this transport. Including a pregnant mama traveling with us. All of this wouldn't be possible without the efforts of each and every one who donates their time and/or money to make it possible.

36 dogs and 15 puppies made the trip.

Plus 2 cats and 7 kittens!
