Smaller run, but in the nick of time
Our first transport for 2024 will be a small one. A major storm is forecasted around the Scranton PA area and will swing into the East Coast, along our route on Sunday. After MUCH deliberation, it was finally decided to err on the side of caution and safety for the Drivers and Passengers by delaying the Sunday legs until NEXT weekend...Jan 13 & 14.
BUT, we could NOT postpone the entire run because some Passengers needed to get out of KY this weekend, or face euthanasia next week! So, we will be rolling this Saturday with 43 very deserving souls who are so grateful for all the volunteer’s time and effort!
16 dogs & 7 puppies made the trip.
And 15 cats and 5 kittens!
